About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise customers directly in their businesses regarding product assortment and potential
  • Acquire new customers through active sales and market identification
  • Act as a problem solver and trusted partner for hospitality and gastronomy clients
  • Independently plan appointments and manage customer networks
  • Collaborate with internal customer management, wholesale markets, and delivery teams

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in trade or sales (e.g., Wholesale Merchant)
  • Or experience in gastronomy (e.g., Chef, Restaurant Manager) looking to transition to sales
  • Strong communication and networking skills
  • Proven ability in active customer acquisition and negotiation
  • Empathy and service orientation for diverse client types
  • Proficiency with digital tools like tablets
  • Valid Class B driver's license
  • Residence within the sales territory (Deutz, Porz, Kalk, Bergisch Gladbach)
