About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise customers directly at their business locations regarding product assortment
- Acquire new customers through active prospecting and market sensing
- Act as a problem solver and trusted partner for hospitality and gastronomy clients
- Independently plan appointments and manage customer networks
- Collaborate with internal customer management, wholesale markets, and delivery teams
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in trade or sales (e.g., Wholesale Merchant) or comparable commercial qualification
- Alternatively, experience in gastronomy (e.g., Chef, Restaurant Manager) looking to transition into sales
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Proven ability in active customer acquisition and negotiation
- High level of empathy and service orientation
- Proficiency with digital tools such as tablets
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Local residency within the assigned sales territory
