Responsibilities
- Drive innovative design-wins by aligning customer technical requirements with Samtec's product design and development capabilities
- Manage territory sales with a focus on the technical design cycle
- Call on technology, micro-electronic, and manufacturing customers at various organizational levels
- Utilize strong organizational systems and appointment-setting practices to promote products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customer bases
- Operate autonomously to exceed sales objectives within the assigned territory
Requirements
- 5+ years of OEM sales experience in a technical industry
- Proven experience in component sales within a technical industry
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional follow-up skills
- Self-driven mindset suitable for an autonomous work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, provided experience aligns specifically with technical components and customers
