Field Reimbursement Manager

Responsibilities

• Support patient access to care by educating providers on reimbursement, coding, and specialty pharmacy processes.
• Monitor national and local healthcare payer policies and develop relationships with key advocacy leaders and state societies.
• Provide direct support to prescribing physicians, hospitals, and support staff regarding reimbursement and product access.
• Execute local market plans to address reimbursement, billing/coding, and patient access issues.
• Collaborate with field partners, access services hubs, and managed markets teams to alleviate access barriers.
• Maintain expertise in coverage, prior authorizations, appeals, exceptions, denials, and payer payment guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with sales teams to ensure clarity on reimbursement opportunities and support pull-through efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in insurance verification or claim adjudication.
• Deep understanding of Medicare, Tricare, and Medicaid.
• Strong understanding of the physician "buy and bill" model.
• Proficiency in coding guidelines including CPT, J-Code, and ICD-10.
• Proven ability to work in highly matrixed and cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Dermatology and/or Oncology.
• Experience in Sun Pharma’s therapeutic areas: Dermatology, Oncology, or Biologics.
