Field Reimbursement Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as a reimbursement and access expert, identifying payer barriers and developing tailored support strategies to ensure patient access to diabetes therapy
• Monitor and anticipate shifts in product coverage, payer behavior, and marketplace conditions to guide account strategy
• Use data analytics to uncover access barriers and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Develop and simplify patient access narratives and educational content for endocrinology and primary care clinics
• Deliver training to field teams and provider offices on reimbursement processes, workflows, and best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve patient access challenges, including PA processes, denial management, and appeals
• Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers and administrative staff to serve as a trusted partner in navigating access challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred fields include business, economics, or health-related subjects)
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare reimbursement or patient access
• Deep understanding of reimbursement, payer processes, and coding/billing
• Valid driver's license and ability to reside within the assigned geographic area
• Ability to perform regular business travel within the territory, including overnight travel
• Strong communication, influencing, and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, PharmD, or MPH
• Prior experience in Field Reimbursement (FRM) or patient access specifically for diabetes
• Knowledge of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs)
