Field Reimbursement Manager, Immunology Rheumatology

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools.
• Provide expertise on product acquisition options, such as specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution.
• Offer localized expertise on national and regional payer policies, including coding changes and claims submission methodology.
• Collaborate with the Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates.
• Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access account teams.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers within the assigned territory.
• Maintain current knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement with expertise in market access and payer account management.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Exceptional territory and strategic account management abilities.
• Strong understanding of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level (including Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D).
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet safe driving requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
