Field Reimbursement Manager, Eye Care

Responsibilities

• Educate Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools and services
• Provide local expertise regarding national and regional payer policies, including coding changes and claims submission processes
• Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution
• Liaise with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on prescription status and program eligibility
• Report payer trends related to approved products to Patient Services and Managed Health Care account management teams
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with providers within the assigned territory

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• 3+ years of experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, or Access and Reimbursement
• Extensive experience educating others on payer processes and coverage requirements for specialty medicines
• Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and associated reimbursement dynamics
• Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing (Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet safe driving requirements
• Ability to satisfy all applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements
