About the role
Responsibilities
- Minimize access and reimbursement barriers for patients and healthcare providers
- Resolve complex reimbursement issues, including prior authorizations, appeals, and denials
- Educate practices and staff on reimbursement support programs, coverage, coding, and payer policies
- Partner with Market Access, Patient Services, and Field Sales to support compliant patient access
- Share payer policy updates, customer insights, and access barriers with internal teams
- Handle PHI in accordance with HIPAA and company compliance policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience resolving patient access challenges in a healthcare or reimbursement setting
- Strong knowledge of the US healthcare system, reimbursement policies, and patient assistance programs
- Understanding of HIPAA and proper handling of PHI
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage stakeholder relationships
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel greater than 75%
