Field Project Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site work direction to subcontractors, technicians, designers, and administration
• Manage and execute turnkey projects from start to completion, ensuring compliance with plans, safety, scope, and budget
• Coordinate required resources, equipment deliveries, and material procurement
• Review subcontractor submittals and equipment selections to ensure contract compliance
• Communicate technical and business-related issues with customers, architects, and MEP consultants
• Drive controls pre-commissioning and participate in final commissioning processes
• Utilize project management software to manage punch lists and coordinate subcontractor completion
• Administer the warranty process and evaluate all warranty requests
• Ensure all job-site personnel and subcontractors adhere to OSHA and internal safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC, controls installation, or construction environments
• Experience with large mechanical projects, HVAC equipment (chillers, boilers, etc.), and controls
• OSHA 10/30 certification
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• Ability to pass and maintain background checks for access to schools and universities

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of project management software such as PlanGrid, BIM360, or Procore
• Bilingual in Spanish
