Field Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all onsite activities for small projects or subtasks of larger projects in accordance with schedules.
• Direct and coordinate subcontractor activities following project procedures, scope of work, and contract specifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client regarding all site activities within assigned areas.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish budgets, monitor progress, and determine required staffing levels.
• Develop project documents, processes, and procedures to support quality control and final deliverables.
• Establish and communicate project safety plans, actively promoting safety policies and monitoring the job site.
• Chair weekly job meetings and prepare progress summaries for the Project Manager.
• Submit monthly reports to the client and respond to client issues and expectations.
• Assist in pricing and negotiating changes to the scope of work with clients and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of job progress through daily logs and other reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of related work experience.
• 3 years of experience in a leadership role at a field site.
• Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with industry practices and regulations.
• Willingness to relocate to the job site.

Preferred Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Project Management (PM) certification program.
