Field Project Manager, Airports

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific activities and construction subtasks for airport projects, including the Asheville Airport
• Plan and execute project aspects including scope of work (SOW) development, budgets, and schedules
• Coordinate project requirements with clients to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Develop project documents, processes, and procedures to support quality control
• Establish and communicate project safety plans and monitor job site compliance
• Chair regular stakeholder meetings and provide project progression summaries
• Maintain accurate documentation of job progress through daily logs and reports
• Perform quality control inspections, RFI management, and submittal/shop drawing reviews
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with clients and subcontractors

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 10+ years of related work experience
• 3+ years in a field leadership role
• Proven experience in construction management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with airport construction projects
• Experience with ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) support
