About the Company
Voters of Tomorrow is a political movement for young people and by young people. With the guiding goal of building youth political power, Voters of Tomorrow has a presence in over 25 states and volunteers in all 50. Backed by extensive research on Gen Z, we're taking the issues Gen Z cares about most into the rooms where decisions get made.
Responsibilities
- Draft plans for campus programs and help shape the overall vision for 2026
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of paid fellows and volunteers
- Build relationships with administrators, student leaders, and student organizations
- Help build systems to overcome barriers to student civic engagement and voter turnout
- Manage engaging events to educate students about upcoming elections
- Conduct direct voter contact through dorm-storming, canvassing, and relational organizing
- Pilot coordinated narrative-building and story collection campaigns
- Exercise discretion in the use of program resources
Requirements
- Passion for inspiring and empowering young people in the civic process
- Comfort talking to strangers and potential volunteers
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car
- Ability to work weekends and irregular hours
- Located near or willing to relocate to Des Moines, IA
- Previous electoral or campus organizing experience is a plus
