Field Operator

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of various field equipment in the Oil & Energy sector
• Execute daily tasks including safety work permits, LOTO, and preventative maintenance
• Assist maintenance and engineering teams with corrective maintenance activities
• Follow JIGPC basic safety procedures, including Confined Space and process safety compliance
• Operate plant facilities to meet safety, reliability, product quality, and supply flexibility requirements
• Participate in investigations and Root Cause Analysis to implement sustainable corrective actions
• Maintain communications and relationships with customers to ensure demand rates are met
• Communicate plant activities between shifts to ensure operational continuity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Process Operations or a 2-year technical school certificate in Plant Process Operations
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process plant operations and technical plant support
• Strong understanding of plant operations, equipment reliability, and process safety
• Proficiency in English speaking and writing
• Ability to communicate with customers at the board level daily
