Field Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate facility in production mode while maintaining established efficiencies
• Examine, diagnose, and repair operational problems using accepted methods
• Conduct preventative maintenance practices on plant equipment
• Perform multi-diversified duties including maintenance, repair, and yard loading
• Schedule or call for necessary repairs and parts
• Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations
• Recognize and report potentially hazardous situations to ensure safety
• Wear proper safety equipment and meet company safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating and maintaining an aggregate facility
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Core understanding of conveyor belts, shaker screens, sand screws, and cyclone operations
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours with flexibility for overtime and weekends
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding and cutting experience
