Field Operations Sr Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of support for USAC plants regarding ocean shipping, drayage, and trucking operations
• Provide regional operational support across consolidation center sites and drayage touchpoints
• Capture and communicate demand signals to support container, booking, and capacity forecasting
• Assist with short- and medium-term volume forecasting to inform first leg operations planning
• Support drayage carrier escalations and assist with pool management coordination
• Monitor first leg KPIs and flag cost or service deviations for corrective action
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and WMS systems and support TMS data integrity
• Coordinate cross-functionally with sites, traffic management, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 6 years of experience in supply chain within a private, public, government, or military environment
• 4 years of experience with ocean or air freight
• 2 years of experience with trucking and/or drayage operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Strong communication and organizational skills for supporting multiple regional sites
