Field Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation
• Act as the primary liaison between the field crew and internal departments
• Conduct site visits to provide support, coaching, and quality assurance
• Monitor and enforce company safety standards and compliance with local codes
• Identify and resolve operational obstacles impacting productivity
• Train and mentor field technicians to improve workmanship and efficiency
• Review completed installations to ensure quality standards are met
• Support warranty and rework investigations
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refine operational procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC install team member and team lead
• 5+ years in a management role overseeing field teams
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including heat pumps
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Proficiency with scheduling software and field management tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of OSHA Electrical and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC NATE certification
• Section 608 certification
