Field Operations Manager

Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. We are building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company to make clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation
• Act as the primary liaison between the field crew and internal departments such as logistics, procurement, and scheduling
• Conduct site visits to provide support, coaching, and quality assurance for active installation projects
• Monitor and enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
• Identify operational obstacles and work proactively to resolve issues impacting field productivity
• Conduct pre-installation walkthroughs and maintain understanding of staffing needs
• Train and mentor field technicians to improve workmanship, efficiency, and customer service
• Review completed installations to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
• Support warranty and rework investigations and implement corrective action plans
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine operational procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC install team member and team lead
• 5+ years in a management role overseeing field teams
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including heat pumps
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations
• Proficiency with scheduling software and field management tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of OSHA Electrical and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC NATE certification
• Section 608 certification
