Field Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI and Commercial teams to translate data requirements into mission briefs
• Integrate and configure Arkeus optical systems across drones, fixed-wing, boats, and ground vehicles
• Plan and execute field data collection missions end to end, including site assessment and logistics
• Monitor and validate data quality in the field to ensure AI-ready datasets
• Manage post-mission data workflows, including offload, organization, and basic annotation
• Maintain optical systems and platform equipment in operational readiness
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, aviation, or maritime requirements
• Manage deployment logistics for domestic and international missions

Requirements

• Field experience deploying sensors or optical systems across aerial, maritime, or ground platforms
• Data-quality mindset with ability to assess imagery in the field
• Proven ability to work alongside AI, engineering, or data science teams
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex field deployments independently
• Current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) or equivalent recognized certification
• IT confidence with mission planning software and geospatial data formats
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to remote environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic scripting (Python) or automation
• Exposure to AI dataset preparation or annotation workflows
