Field Nurse Educator

Responsibilities

• Provide direct educational training to patients regarding specific disease states and assigned medications
• Coordinate and facilitate connections between patients and program-approved, patient-based resources
• Promote behavioral change and patient empowerment to improve treatment compliance
• Foster appropriate dialogue between patients and their healthcare providers
• Interact with enrolled patients via in-person visits, telephone, video platforms, email, and SMS
• Support multiple disease states and medications as required by the program

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in good standing (compact multi-state license preferred)
• 5+ years of clinical experience in healthcare (hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel 70-80%, including flights and overnight stays
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and iPad technology
• Demonstrated time management, multitasking, and independent planning skills
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or BSN
• Previous experience as a Nurse Educator
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
