Field Marketing Manager

Overland AI is transforming land operations for modern defense by leveraging advanced research in robotics and machine learning. The company delivers autonomy stacks and command-and-control interfaces that enable ground vehicles to navigate complex terrain without GPS.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning and execution for external trade shows, conferences, and industry events
• Manage event logistics including timelines, budgets, travel, shipping, and vendor coordination
• Develop event plans tailored to specific end-user personas in partnership with Business Development
• Serve as an active presence on the show floor to engage prospects and support sales conversations
• Coordinate pre-event outreach, on-site meeting scheduling, and post-event follow-up
• Plan and execute internal and hosted events such as partner meetings and investor briefings
• Track event-related marketing data and performance metrics including lead generation and pipeline influence
• Build post-event reporting to communicate ROI and insights to leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, field marketing, or events
• Experience owning complex trade shows or large-scale events
• Strong operational mindset and ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Experience working closely with Business Development and Sales teams
• Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing analytics tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and a bias toward execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in defense, aerospace, or government sectors
• Experience supporting highly regulated industry events
• Experience developing repeatable event playbooks in fast-growing organizations
