About the role
About the Company
Kombo (YC S22) builds the infrastructure layer for hire-to-retire employee data. We power recruitment platforms, benefits providers, and spend management tools by giving them reliable access to candidate and employee data across any HRIS, LMS, ATS, or payroll system their customers use.
Responsibilities
- Own all events end-to-end, including major industry conferences, executive dinners, roundtables, roadshows, and webinars
- Plan events with leadership and manage execution from strategy to follow-up
- Identify high-impact locations to reach the ICP and create a repeatable event playbook
- Translate revenue targets and product roadmaps into cohesive go-to-market plans
- Build and maintain motions for in-person touchpoints to sell to enterprise customers at scale
- Continuously improve event planning and execution processes as volume increases
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in field marketing or demand generation at a B2B SaaS company
- Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple initiatives in parallel
- Commercial mindset with an understanding of sales cycles and buyer journeys
- Hands-on executor comfortable with regular travel
- High ownership, high standards, and strong judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline through events
- Experience marketing to technical or infrastructure buyers (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product)
- Experience building a field marketing motion from scratch at an early-stage company
