Field Lift Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service checks and maintenance on elevator and escalator units within the Glasgow region
• React to sudden breakdowns and provide technical solutions to ensure passenger safety
• Carry out minor repairs and aim for first-time fixes on service calls
• Act as the face of the business by providing regular updates to clients regarding work performed
• Record findings and escalate technical issues to the field manager

Requirements

• NVQ level 3 in lift service, maintenance, or repair
• Minimum of 72 months of experience in the elevator sector
• Strong skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• Valid UK driver’s license
• Proficiency with electronic and digital tools
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a strong focus on safety
