Field Installation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare and install full edge setups including cameras, compute nodes, and networking components
• Configure devices, test connectivity, and verify data flow from edge to cloud
• Develop and use automation scripts for faster installation, calibration, and verification
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues across hardware, network, and software layers
• Coordinate component sourcing and logistics with the operations team
• Ensure every installation meets reliability, safety, and performance standards

Requirements

• 3+ years in industrial hardware installation, systems integration, or field engineering
• Strong practical experience with Linux, networking, and device configuration
• Familiarity with edge computing, camera systems, or IoT deployments
• Proficiency in Bash or Python for setup automation and diagnostics is a plus
• Valid driver's license for transporting equipment to client sites
• Ability to occasionally lift 30kg+
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
