Field Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, impartial, and complete residential and commercial property inspections
• Access and inspect steep and/or high roofs using ladders and equipment
• Sketch and measure roof and room components; scope inspection areas
• Document inspections using proprietary smartphone software
• Travel to catastrophe-affected areas for assignments averaging 2–6 weeks
• Cover a 100-mile radius around your home market and take short-notice assignments
• Utilize equipment including 3D cameras, drones, and moisture meters as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean, reliable truck/van/SUV capable of transporting a 32' ladder
• Operational laptop and smartphone with ability to navigate apps and use Microsoft Office
• 32-foot ladder and ability to lift/carry equipment up to 100 pounds
• State-issued workers compensation and certificate of general liability insurance
• LLC articles or certificate of organization
• Ability to earn HAAG Certification within 90 days
• Willingness to travel during catastrophic events such as hurricanes and tornadoes
• Professional appearance and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Roofing sales or construction experience
• Property insurance experience
• Haag Certification
• Ability to use a 40-foot ladder
