Field Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, impartial, and complete home and commercial property inspections
• Access and inspect steep and/or high roofs using ladders and safety equipment
• Sketch and measure roof and room components and scope inspection areas
• Document inspections using proprietary software on a smartphone device
• Travel to catastrophe-affected areas for assignments averaging 2–6 weeks as needed
• Cover a 100-mile radius around the home market and take assignments on short notice
• Utilize equipment such as 3D cameras, drones, and moisture meters when needed

Requirements

• Clean, reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of safely transporting a 32-foot ladder
• Operational laptop and smartphone with ability to navigate applications and enter data
• Valid driver's license and professional appearance
• State-issued Workers' Compensation and Certificate of General Liability Insurance
• LLC Articles or Certificate of Organization
• Ability to earn HAAG Certification within 90 days
• Ability to submit complete, quality reports on time

Preferred Qualifications

• Roofing sales or construction experience
• Property insurance experience
• Existing HAAG Certification
• Ability to use a 40-foot ladder
