Field Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, impartial, and complete home and commercial property inspections
• Climb two-story+ and steep roofs using a 32-foot extension ladder
• Sketch and measure roof and room components to calculate areas
• Identify roof age, leaks, deterioration, hail damage, and wind damage
• Enter photos, measurements, and documentation via proprietary software on smartphone and laptop
• Travel daily within a 100-mile radius and travel extensively for catastrophe response

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to climb and walk on any type of roof
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 100 pounds
• Reliable truck, van, or SUV and a valid driver's license
• Operational laptop and smartphone
• 32-foot ladder and roofing boots
• Ability to obtain HAAG Certification within the first year
• Business documentation including LLC Articles, General Liability Insurance, and State Issued Workers Compensation

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in construction, service, or sales
• Previous experience as a roofer
• Insurance Adjuster experience
• HAAG Certification
• Experience with property and liability insurance standards
