Field Inspector - Grain Grader

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and sampling of containers, barges, and rail cars
• Supervise loading and counts of agricultural products
• Physically measure, weigh, sample, and take temperatures of agricultural products
• Calculate transferred quantities and perform full reconciliation
• Perform initial analysis of grains and split samples for Grain Graders
• Transport commodity samples between loading terminals and the office
• Conduct basic laboratory testing of samples under supervision
• Document inspection processes with detailed notes and photographs
• Maintain communication with administrative staff regarding job status and progress
• Adhere to all safety policies, industry procedures, and the SGS Code of Integrity

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Valid Driver License

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in an agriculture-related field
• 1-2 years of experience in grain or oil inspection or grain grading operations
