Field HVAC Project Manager

Sub-Zero is a trusted HVAC company in the Florida Keys, now operating under Rocket Cooling. We serve residential, commercial, and hospitality clients across Key West and the surrounding areas, managing projects ranging from multi-family developments to large-scale commercial jobs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple HVAC construction and commercial projects in the field simultaneously
• Manage install crews and ensure jobs are progressing on schedule
• Maintain quality control across all active projects
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower to keep jobs moving
• Read and interpret plans, layouts, and project specifications
• Ensure all installs meet code, manufacturer specs, and company standards
• Troubleshoot issues in the field and keep projects on track
• Communicate with builders, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Track progress and provide updates on timelines and job status

Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC experience with a strong background in construction or commercial projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple jobs and crews at the same time
• Strong understanding of HVAC system design, layout, and installation practices
• Ability to read blueprints and coordinate projects from rough-in through startup
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong time management
• Problem-solver who takes ownership and drives results
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
