About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HEOR scientific strategic partner for payer and access stakeholders, including PBMs, GPOs, and specialty pharmacy organizations.
- Deliver clinical, economic, and real-world evidence (RWE) to support Insulet’s value proposition and drive payer understanding.
- Translate complex clinical and economic data into clear, compelling value narratives tailored for population healthcare decision-makers.
- Present health economic models, budget impact analyses, and outcomes data to support formulary reviews and access negotiations.
- Identify evidence gaps based on field insights and partner with HEOR and Clinical teams to shape future RWE and outcomes study needs.
- Capture and provide structured feedback on payer insights, unmet needs, and access barriers to Market Access and Medical Affairs leadership.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with payer clinical leaders to establish Insulet as a credible, science-driven partner.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
- Advanced degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent.
- Specialized training in Health Economics, Epidemiology, or Biostatistics.
- Proven expertise in real-world evidence (RWE) and health economic models.
- Extensive field-based experience engaging with payers, PBMs, or GPOs.
- Demonstrated experience communicating complex clinical and HEOR evidence.
- Ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in roles such as Health Outcomes Liaison, Field HEOR Scientist, or Value Evidence Liaison.
- Therapeutic area expertise in diabetes, endocrinology, or chronic disease management.
