Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repair of material handling equipment within a dedicated territory
• Conduct routine maintenance, scheduled services, and reactive breakdown repairs
• Use mobile technology to manage daily work schedules and inventory
• Maintain accurate service records and technical notes
• Assist in preparing field-based quotes for customers
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in automation and telematics

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly regarded but not essential
