Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repair of material handling equipment within a dedicated territory
• Conduct routine maintenance, scheduled safety checks, and reactive breakdown services
• Manage daily work schedules using mobile technology
• Maintain accurate service records and inventory on company service vans
• Assist in preparing field-based quotes for customers
• Maintain technical knowledge of emerging automation and telematics technologies

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly regarded but not essential
