Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repair of material handling equipment within a dedicated territory
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and function checks
• Manage daily work schedules using mobile technology
• Maintain inventory on company service vans and at customer sites
• Accurately maintain service records and technical notes
• Assist in preparing field-based quotes for customers
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in automation and telematics

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician
• Background in electrical or building sectors
