Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite repairs across a wide range of material handling equipment
• Respond to breakdowns within Kalgoorlie, Esperance, and surrounding areas
• Undertake diagnostic and fault-finding work
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within the territory
• Collaborate with internal technical support teams to deliver effective maintenance outcomes
• Provide breakdown support, servicing, and planned maintenance for diesel, LPG, and battery electric forklifts

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a forklift technician
• Proven ability to work autonomously in remote or regional locations
• Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic capability
• Experience with large-tonnage diesel equipment is highly desirable
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and commitment to preventative maintenance
• Strong alignment with safety culture
• Effective communication and customer service skills
