Field Engineer Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate total station instruments, transit, auto level, and other surveying equipment
• Set and mark stakes for slopes, grades, and other construction purposes
• Determine lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions, and distances
• Maintain total station, field books, survey equipment, and tools

Requirements

• 2 years of construction or surveying experience using total station and site levels
• Complete understanding of surveying math
• Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work on uneven surfaces or at heights
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50-100 lbs frequently
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment
• Ability to work outdoors
• Availability for overtime and weekend hours
• Strong punctuality and promptness
