Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and investment projects for retail stations, including modifications, replacements, and environmental projects.
• Monitor maintenance budgets, analyze costs, and implement initiatives to improve performance and cost control.
• Inspect stations and oversee complex repairs or damage cases to ensure technical installations remain reliable.
• Act as a key technical contact for the Maintenance ServiceDesk, dealers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare for legal inspections and ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate contractors and suppliers, monitoring quality, timing, budget, and safety during execution.
• Support new dealers by sharing technical expertise and providing guidance to project teams.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, simplify processes, and strengthen network performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (Electromechanics, Mechanics, Electricity) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a similar technical function or sector.
• Experience in project management.
• Fluency in Dutch and French, with a good command of English.
• Possession of a VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness to travel within Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
