Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset integrity inspections on offshore and European wind farms
• Install hardware systems and condition monitoring equipment on wind turbines
• Manage sensor installation projects including RAMS preparation and subcontractor coordination
• Support failure analysis and consulting projects with on-site expertise
• Prepare and deliver high-quality technical reports to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
• Time-served apprenticeship with HNC/HND qualification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Ability to work on-site and at height in wind turbines (onshore and offshore)
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the wind industry
• Experience with borescope inspections or complex mechanical systems (jet engines, gas turbines)
• GWO certification
• Knowledge of Spanish, German, or French
