Field Engineer, Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Interface between cross-functional engineering groups and the construction site team to ensure adherence to engineering plans and specifications.
• Provide construction site engineering expertise to interpret designs and mitigate construction delays.
• Facilitate construction and start-up activities, including the assembly of start-up work packages.
• Perform daily field inspections to ensure compliance with design engineering requirements.
• Prepare construction-related reports, submittals, and documentation of design changes (redlines).
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and work with home office engineering and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience with mechanical installations on industrial projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a demonstrated combination of education and experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to access to nuclear facilities and information governed by federal regulations.

• Previous experience working in Power Plant environments.
