Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site fault triage and resolution for vehicle software and hardware to maintain fleet uptime
  • Collaborate with Reliability Engineering to triage and mitigate issues during new feature rollouts
  • Develop and enforce structured processes for fault diagnosis, repair protocols, and operational workflows
  • Oversee and support field engineers with technical guidance and hands-on leadership
  • Ensure rapid response and resolution meeting strict SLAs (15-minute response and one-hour repair)
  • Manage global operational handovers and coordinate on-call support across multiple regions
  • Uphold strict safety and compliance standards for all repairs and diagnostics
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements for field engineering support

Requirements

  • Full German driving licence
  • Experience leading and guiding teams to troubleshoot hardware, software, and automotive systems
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, fault triage, and repair processes
  • Proven ability to manage processes and resource allocation to meet strict SLAs
  • Excellent coordination skills for working with global teams and managing handovers
  • Deep understanding of safety protocols and incident management
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Automotive, DevOps, or Infrastructure
  • Experience with vehicle systems, software deployment, or cloud-based monitoring
  • Knowledge of ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle Technology (sensors, diagnostics, testing environments)
  • Expertise in system troubleshooting and optimization across networked vehicle systems
