Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support field operations through drawing interpretation, field surveying, and work layout support
• Perform quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and basic engineering calculations
• Assist in the preparation of work plans, work packages, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)
• Coordinate material deliveries and supervise subcontractor operations on-site
• Maintain project records including daily reports, RFIs, photographs, and as-built data
• Assist in estimating processes by reviewing historical data and performing plan reviews
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related engineering field (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Construction Management, Mining, or Geotechnical)
• Willingness to travel and relocate to various project locations as business requires
• Ability to work in heavy civil construction environments and various weather conditions
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work rotating schedules, shift work, or weekends as required by project needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in engineering or construction
