Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
• Perform quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and basic engineering calculations
• Support field surveying, work layout, and the compilation of as-built data
• Assist in the preparation of work plans, work packages, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs)
• Maintain project records including daily reports, photographs, RFIs, and correspondence
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups on the jobsite
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training
• Support estimating efforts through plan reviews and quantity takeoffs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related engineering field (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Construction Management, Mining, or Geotechnical)
• Minimum overall GPA of 2.5
• Willingness to travel and relocate to various locations as business requires
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in diverse outdoor climates and construction environments
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work rotating schedules, shifts, or weekends as required

• Previous internship experience in construction or engineering
