About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute and support field service equipment activities including installs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance
- Quote and specify projects, preventative maintenance, and service requests
- Act as an OEM and Vendor liaison
- Conduct industry-appropriate training for customers and staff regarding troubleshooting and repair
- Participate in plant surveys to identify customer and Field Service needs
- Support and execute customer chemical trials to achieve performance objectives
- Maintain RCRA compliance and participate in health and safety training
Requirements
- Ability to travel extensively with frequent overnight stays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
- 3-5 years of related field experience
- Experience identifying and writing project scopes
- Experience specifying equipment and partnering on implementation
- Experience starting up field devices
