Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support across various client locations
• Serve as the company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters
• Build and support end-user devices including PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, mobiles, and tablets
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and solve technical problems
• Provide Windows desktop, server, and network support
• Build productive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
• Perform field support for system hardware, software, and wireless networking

Requirements

• New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident having lived in NZ for 5+ consecutive years
• 2+ years of relevant IT experience
• Experience with installation, diagnosis, and repair of PC systems and end-user devices
• Proficiency with Intune, O365, and current Windows Operating Systems
• Working familiarity with server and networking equipment
• Valid NZ driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer relationship management and communication skills
