Field Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews
• Perform quantity calculations and measurements
• Assist in field surveying and work layout support
• Prepare work plans, work packages, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
• Order and schedule material deliveries
• Perform material takeoffs and basic engineering calculations
• Maintain project recordkeeping including RFIs and daily reports
• Assist in reviewing historical data for project bidding
• Supervise field operations and subcontractor activities

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to safety and ethics

Preferred Qualifications

• Infrastructure or Heavy Civil project experience
