Field Deployment Technician

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to develop deployment plans
• Manage inventory of commercial off-the-shelf component SKUs
• Pack, secure, and load hardware for transit
• Plan routes and drive robotic hardware across the US
• Unpack, assemble, install, and configure robotic hardware systems
• Run functional tests and verify system performance
• Troubleshoot issues during transport, setup, or testing
• Design and author comprehensive work instructions and repeatable processes

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to spend 2-3 weeks per month on the road
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions
• Strong independent judgment and minimal supervision capability
• Track record of meeting deadlines in field installation roles
• Physical ability to handle equipment up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• US Armed Forces or DoD contractor veteran experience
• Experience in logistics, procurement, or complex hardware transport
• Commercial driving experience
• Structured thinking regarding process improvement
