About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) inspections to identify fugitive emissions and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Locate and determine the severity of hydrocarbon gas leaks to improve facility safety and equipment reliability
  • Conduct thermography inspections and provide maintenance recommendations based on findings
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs during inspections
  • Maintain OGI camera certification and perform periodic equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Compile compliance work requests and coordinate with teams to address non-regulatory and third-party requests
  • Mentor and train other LDAR team members on data recording, inspections, and troubleshooting
  • Utilize CMMS (InforEAM) for detailed work order scheduling and management

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year of LDAR and Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations, including OOOOa, OOOOb, NRSP, NMED, and CAFO
  • Strong background in Oil & Gas operations or maintenance
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel to various field locations and work a 9/80 schedule, including weekends or holidays if necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently in remote locations and manage complex task schedules
  • Proficiency with PC applications including EAM/CMMS, Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience working in extreme heat and outdoor weather conditions
