Field Coordinator - Infrastructure Construction

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications to prepare work plans and work packages for field crews
• Perform quantity calculations, material takeoffs, and basic engineering calculations
• Supervise field operations and coordinate work groups on the jobsite
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and contract administration
• Maintain project records including daily reports, RFIs, and as-built data
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) preparation
• Support estimating efforts by analyzing historical data and performing plan reviews

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction field experience
• Undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
• Proven experience in engineering and leading other engineers
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans and specifications
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed for various projects across Canada and the USA
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in diverse outdoor climates and access all points of a construction site
