Field Auto Appraiser

Responsibilities

• Meet customers at homes, repair shops, or tow yards to evaluate vehicle damage
• Write precise and comprehensive auto collision estimates
• Guide customers through the repair or total loss process using in-person visits and virtual inspections
• Investigate casualty claims by performing detailed damage reviews and interpreting policies
• Negotiate claim settlements with customers, vendors, and third-party carriers
• Maintain accurate and timely digital records of all claims and documentation

Requirements

• 3-5 years of auto collision estimating experience
• Proficiency with CCC or Mitchell estimating software
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with excellent time management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Audatex Estimating
• Existing active appraiser or adjuster license
