Field Applications Scientist

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-sales activities including presentations, consultations, and product demonstrations
• Ensure consistency in technical messaging across all customer interactions
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
• Troubleshoot customer issues and optimize workflows
• Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams to drive product innovation
• Provide insights to leadership on market opportunities and customer needs
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and customer site visits
• Collaborate with product management, R&D, and marketing teams

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the biotech industry or equivalent laboratory experience
• 2+ years of experience running flow cytometry assays in the 8-40 color range
• Proficiency in flow cytometry assay design, staining, data acquisition, and troubleshooting
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering) or equivalent
• Strong understanding of synthetic biology, flow cytometry, or cell biology
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel 50%-60% as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field
