Field Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and respond to customer questions regarding RF and microwave products
• Offer design recommendations and preliminary evaluations for new product requests
• Troubleshoot and debug customer implementations of filters, amplifiers, and front-end modules
• Visit customers to promote new products, discuss technical issues, and support system design
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and production teams to satisfy customer needs
• Participate in regional opportunity reviews and assist in the preparation of application notes
• Coordinate technical opportunities with sales representatives and customers

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design, product evaluation, testing, or sales within an RF/Microwave environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Proficiency with Keysight’s Advanced Design System (ADS)
• Experience designing or supporting RF systems such as transceivers, radio, or radar
• Experience designing or supporting filters in a system design context
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (including occasional overnight stays)
