About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to create technical solutions and drive design wins using engineering expertise
- Provide in-depth engineering support, including training, demos, proof of concept designs, and debugging client systems
- Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support for all product lines
- Conduct architectural and schematic reviews, design reviews, and product training
- Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously and support technical and business relationships
- Communicate feedback to Microchip product business units and participate in global team strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., BSEE, BSCE)
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong hardware and software debugging skills
- Ability to create content and deliver technical overviews, seminars, and workshops
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and proficiency in C/C++
- Understanding of analog signal chains, power conversion, motor control, and DSP algorithms
- Experience with RTOS, Linux, wired and wireless networks, and IoT platforms
- Understanding of embedded security, authentication, and encryption
